Baked Scallops
bullet1 lb Sea Scallops
bullet¼ cup Fine Bread Crumbs
bullet2 Tbsp Grated Romano Cheese
bullet2 tsp Salt
bullet1/8 tsp Pepper
bullet4 Tbsp Butter
bullet2 Tbsp Parsley

 

 

Place cleaned scallops on buttered, shallow pan. Sprinkle bread crumbs, cheese, salt, pepper, parsley.

Dot with pieces of butter. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes.

 

Mary's Fettu
Spinach Fettuccini
bullet6 oz Noodles (I like wide noodles)
bullet1 Medium Onion, chopped
bullet½ cup Butter
bullet½ cup Sour Cream
bullet½ cup Parmesan Cheese
bullet6 oz Frozen Spinach
 
 
Sauté onions in ¼ cup butter with garlic powder. Cook spinach, drain, add to butter and onions. Fry for 5 minutes.

Cook noodles, drain, add ¼ cup butter. Toss, add spinach. Toss, add sour cream. Toss, add grated cheese to top. Enjoy!

bullet1½ cups Boiling Water
bullet½ cup Shortening
bullet1 tsp Salt
bullet2 tsp Baking Soda
bullet3 cups Flour
bullet1¼ cups Sugar
bullet1 Egg
bullet½ cup nuts
 
 
Pour boiling water over dates, shortening, and salt. Add flour, egg, sugar, baking soda, and nuts. Mix well

Bake at 325º for 1½ hours in a large pan, or 45 minutes to 1 hour in a small pan.

 

 
Mary's Biscuits
Soft Biscuits
bullet½ cup Sugar
bullet2 tsp Baking Powder
bullet1 tsp Vanilla
bullet3 large Eggs
bullet2 cups Flour (more, if sticky)
 
 
Mix all ingredients. Roll dough pretty thin. Cut out circles, or roll into 2 inch rolls, and make doughnut-like cookies.

Bake at 450º for 15 minutes. After baked, make icing of confectionary sugar and water. Ice cookies after cooled.
