1/3 C  flour

  tsp. salt

tsp. pepper

2 lbs round steak in 1 cubes

1 tsp dried marjoram

bullet

2 cloves garlic, minced

bullet

1/3 C vegetable oil

bullet

2 cans beef broth

bullet

2 C burgundy

bullet

3 C fresh mushrooms, sliced

bullet

1/3 C flour

bullet C water
 
 

Combine flour, salt and pepper.  Toss beef with flour, then brown in heated oil, along with garlic.

Add broth, burgundy and marjoram.  Simmer 1 hours.  Add mushrooms, cook 10 minutes more.   Combine remaining flour and water.  Add to stew, stirring constantly until thickened.  Serve over noodles or mashed potatoes
